I bought these, 700x40c, as a replacement for set of shredded Hutchinson Touregs. I commute every day, 10 miles each way, on a combination of road and offroad. Despite many reviews stating that they are a nightmare to install due to being very tight on the rim, I found that these fitted as easily as any other tyres I use onto a set of Fulcrum Racing 500 rims. Setting them up tubeless was a breeze, they seated first time, and stayed inflated for almost 24 hours before adding sealant. I have been riding them now exclusive for a few weeks (300 miles approx.) On the road, they roll incredibly well and feel very planted in the corners under both wet and dry conditions. Off road, they roll just as well, and feel just as planted in the corners on hard pack and dusty surfaces, across surfaces with larger debris they can feel a little skittish, but thats to be expected for a tyre with a smaller, tighter tread pattern and of this width. Despite only running them for a short period of time, I am impressed with their ease of installation, tubeless setup and feel. I am running them with a front pressure of 55psi and a rear of 60psi. I am interested in their durability and hope that they do not wear as quickly as some tyres.
