This is meant to be the gold standard chain-checker tool, and measures the leading edge between two rollers (not leading to trailing as many do). It's a nice tool and works as designed, with 0.5%, 0.75%, and 1.0% wear indicators. I confirmed that two chains were overdue for replacement, a third was just due, and new is exactly right.
