Quarq ELSA RS Road Power Meter Crankset BB30
Specially designed to accommodate Shimano’s 4-arm Hollowglide™ chain rings, the Quarq ELSA RS Road Power Meter Crankset BB30's spider houses integrated electronics, a CR2032 battery, LED indicator and visible ANT+ ID. The integration of the electronics allows for a seamless and uninterrupted reading of your power output the full way through the pedal stroke.
The crank arms are constructed from hollow carbon for stiff and lightweight strength and the system has a IPX7 waterproof rating at one metre for thirty minutes. The reading has a 10K active temperature compensation and thus is impervious to outside conditions; ensuring you have the most accurate reading possible at a +/- 1.5% degree of accuracy.
With the CR2032 battery the system has over 300 hours of battery life and the battery is easily replaceable. The system is ANT+ compatible and therefore can be seamlessly integrated into your bike computer set up for on-the-go readouts. Your power can then be used and analysed using analysis software such as TrainingPeaks WKO+, TrainingPeaks, Golden Cheetah and Strava.
The bottom bracket is a BB30 and the bolt circle diameter is a 110 BCD that is four-arm compatible. The ELSA RS is a bolt-on upgrade for Shimano’s 11-speed Dura-Ace 9000, Ultegra 6800 and 105 5800 groupsets allowing you to train and race more scientifically in order to maximise your performance.
