Santa Cruz Blur Carbon CC X01 TR Reserve 29" Mountain Bike 2021
The Santa Cruz Blur Carbon CC X01 TR Reserve 29 Mountain Bike is a burlier version of their XC race-winning machine, giving it greater versatility. A 110mm travel FOX Step-Cast 34 Float Performance Elite fork slackens the head angle and adds some stiffness to the front end whilst the RockShox Reverb Stealth dropper seatpost and Maxxis Rekon, 3C EXO TR tyres give greater confidence on steep and technical terrain. The lightweight CC carbon frame at the heart of the bike remains the same, with 100mm of travel controlled by the FOX Float Performance DPS shock and impressive lateral stiffness so that it is still more than capable of competing at the highest levels of XC racing as well as taking on all-day rides and tricky singletrack.
The upgraded wheelset combines 29” Santa Cruz Reserve 25 Carbon rims, DT Swiss 350 hubs and DT Swiss Competition Race spokes to keep the weight down without compromising performance. SRAM’s X01 Eagle 12-speed, 1x setup offers snappy shifting across the wide range 10-50 tooth cassette with the carbon X1 Eagle crankset helping to make sure that all power goes to the back wheel. Level TLM hydraulic disc brakes from SRAM provide tireless stopping ability, with the upgraded 180mm front rotor giving a more trail-orientated performance.
