Santa Cruz Nomad C S Mountain Bike 2022
From sessioning the jump park to laps in the backcountry, the Santa Cruz Nomad C S Mountain Bike offers big-hit performance. The frame is built to go the distance and is constructed from C grade carbon fibre to deliver a lightweight and responsive ride character. The VPP lower link is user-serviceable via a grease port, and the frame and bearings both receive a lifetime warranty for total peace of mind. 170mm of suspension travel irons out the ruts and bumps and eats up heavy hits, dusting off any descent with ease.
Now in its fifth generation, the Nomad has received a geometry overhaul. Longer, lower and slacker all apply here, with this latest revision offering its finest ride to date. This frame still rolls on 27.5” wheels which impart a fun-focused liveliness to the bike's character. This nimble feeling inspires total confidence and control, encouraging a fast and loose ride style.
A true performance package, the specification is ride-ready and features a slick FOX 38 Performance fork for supreme traction on chattery terrain. This is paired with a RockShox Super Deluxe Select+ rear shock to keep the wheels glued to the ground through the rough, whilst the smooth DT Swiss hubs offer friction-free performance. SRAM Code R brakes offer pedigree downhill braking performance on the descents, and a full GX drivetrain supplies crisp shifts across the wide 10-50t cassette range.
