Santa Cruz Nomad Carbon CC X01 Coil 27.5" Mountain Bike 2020
The Santa Cruz Nomad CC X01 Coil 27.5" Mountain Bike combines decades of know-how and the latest technological advances to present a bike capable of conquering any trail it's pointed at. This Nomad is equipped to meet the harshest demands of trail or enduro riding. The frame is fitted with a plush RockShox Super Deluxe Coil Ultimate rear shock which can be fine-tuned to match the demands of the terrain or rider and uses the new Maxima Plus fluid to help silence the damper noise and reduce friction for a smoother feel. The improved action increases traction thus generating more grip when you need it most.
The suspension setup has been tweaked, the integrated lower-link mounted suspension improves the damping effect and reduces the sudden, sharp reaction to bumps and complements the FOX Float fork to increase control. Further adjustments can be made to the geometry thanks to the Flip Chip technology which allows the angles to be slightly slackened or steepened by changing the chip’s position.
Taking on varied topography is no problem with the wide-ranging 12-speed cassette, every change being reliably and consistently executed by the SRAM X01 Eagle set-up. Once rolling the momentum is maintained through the lightweight Eagle Carbon crankset that applies the power to ensure effort is rewarded. Braking is handled by the SRAM Code RSC hydraulic disc brakes and 200mm rotors, offering controlled power that will be at your fingertips in any conditions. The addition of a dropper post allows the saddle height to be positioned exactly where it is required in line with the trail being ridden.
The 27.5" wheelset uses DT Swiss hubs and spokes with Race Face ARC rims that have been designed for durability and stiffness with an offset design for added strength. Rolling over obstacles and challenges will be handled with aplomb and they are tubeless-ready.
