My 3rd Selle Italia SLR saddle. I started on the standard Superflow S3 saddle and found it comfortable on my carbon road bike. I opted to get the SLR Boost Edurance Superflow S3 Saddle for my second bike as I was doing much longer days in the saddle. I recently completed the Rebellion Way on a 3rd bike and decided that swapping saddles and setting positions would be too much faff so looked at buying a second SLR Boost Edurance Superflow S3 Saddle. They are not cheap and my eye was drawn to the SLR Boost Gravel Superflow S3 Saddle as it was on offer and the SLR Boost X-Cross Superflow S3 Saddle as it was on an even better offer. I contacted Selle Italia and they informed me that there was no difference between the Gravel and the X-Cross, apart from the scuff resistant material on the outer edges of the saddle. I'm pleased to say that the X-Cross is a great saddle. It felt quite firm initially, but was as comfortable as my Endurance model after a couple of days. As good as the Endurance model, but cheaper. What's not to like?

I purchased this item after having tried so many saddles, and after trying a pals decided to get one for myself, love it.. light, fits my butt perfect and is now my favourite, the quality is really good… expensive but you can see why!
