Bought this to replace same model of shifter. There is a design fault with this shifter. There is a spiral spring that creates tension on the pawl that operates the ratchet system for shifting. If you are not really careful when changing the cable, you can break said spring easily. Beware, there is no fix for this other than a replacement shifter. Shimano are aware of this, through bike shop mechanics picking up on this problem

Hi Ed, No, this is the right-hand shift and brake lever on its own. It doesn't include the caliper, the hydraulic hose or a gear cable, so those are all bought separately.
