Silca Italian Army Knife Tredici 13-Piece Multi-Tool

Tredici translates to thirteen in Italian and that’s the number of tools the Silca Italian Army Knife Tredici 13-Piece Multi-Tool incorporates. Taking a more traditional approach to designing the multi-tool, Silca has injected their engineering flair and style to ensure it stands out from the crowd but also lasts the test of time thanks to the high-quality materials used.

The fully forged mid-length tools sit within the forged aluminium side plates and full stainless steel connectors, giving a timeless look that screams heritage and style. It’s not just designed to sit on the side and look beautiful, though. Silca have thought long and hard to create this multi-tool and have forged every single part of this product instead of bending it from hex stock - ensuring that whether you’re on the 1st repair or 1000th, this tool will stay strong and retain its looks.

The tools are double chromed and the hardware and bushings are constructed from hardened stainless steel for a guaranteed long life without corrosion. Forged aluminium sidebars also increase functionality.

ddrake,

Great multitool, made from high quality metal Drawbacks are that there is no chain tool and the red part is painted, rather than anodised - this is easily scratched and chipped. What's more, the removable 8mm piece sits on the 5mm allen key; this means that when you need to adjust gear and brake cables, you need to be careful not to misplace the 8mm attatchment. However, this doesn't bother me much - I keep the 8mm piece at home as my garmin pedals need a wrench rather than an 8mm allen key to put them on

Slimline quality product buy Silca, even holds a quick link if you have a dreaded chain break, but no actual chain breaker so unless your chain magically releases itself good luck!

Q & A

1 question answered

  1. Yes I bought this from you and it is very nice but...my bike has a thru axle requiring a 6mm hex but though the desciption says it has a 6mm it does not. Jumps from 5mm to 8mm. Either I have a rogue Tredici or the description is wrong. Can you check this?

    Asked by Matt66 (Staffordshire) —

    1. Did this question get answered? One reviewer said that the 8mm hex fits over the 6mm hex (therefore one removes the 8mm hex to use the 6mm hex) while another said that the 8mm hex fits over the 5mm hex. Which is correct?

    2. Hello, That is very peculiar! Please could you send us an email to customercare@sigmasports.com with the tool you have received? We can then take a look into this for you. Many Thanks Liam
