I know that this is more expensive than most other electric inflators. However, it's beautifully made and very compact. Plus, all parts are replaceable. I did hesitate over this not having a pressure gauge, but the max inflation of 70psi is what I run my 28mm tyres at, so no problem there. I've had to use it out on a ride, after a pinch flat blew a hole in my inner-tube. The inflator made short work of inflating the replacement, and wasn't too noisy.
The Elettrico Mini pump might feel like a frivolous purchase... But you'll soon be using it for your bikes, footballs, pushchair and more. It leaps into life like a furious hornet, inflates quickly and then has a lovely rest in your jersey pocket. It heats up a little more than I expected (better than a freezing Co2 cartridge) and lacks the arm workout of a mini pump.
