Specialized Chisel Mountain Bike
The all-new Specialized Chisel Mountain Bike is designed to excel on modern cross country trails, featuring an ultra-lightweight race-ready frameset. Channelling the flagship Specialized Epic hardtail, it shares much of the same DNA, but in a budget-friendly aluminium package. Efficiency is the name of the game with the Chisel, with state of the art aluminium technology making it one for the most capable alloy hardtails available. Contemporary geometry sees progressive long reach measurements across the size range and a confidence-inspiring 68-degree head angle.
Utilising D'Aluisio Smartweld technology, Specialized has created an aluminium masterpiece which balances strength, weight and rigidity to make the new Chisel the most high-tech to date. With a frame weight as low as 1400 grams, it puts many carbon framesets to shame, all whilst retaining frame stiffness in all sizes. Optimised for a 1x drivetrain, it is packed with modern features including internal cable routing, boost spacing and 30.9mm dropper compatibility. A threaded bottom bracket ensures easy replacements and long-lasting, creak-free performance.
With a smart specification of Shimano and Specialized Stout in-house components, the Chisel keeps the price down without impacting on the performance of the bike. A RockShox Judy Silver fork provides 100mm of performance suspension travel, complete with their TurnKey damper for lockout and compression adjustment. The revised 12-speed Shimano Deore drivetrain offers crisp shifting at an excellent price point, with trickle-down technology allowing the benefits of a wide range cassette to be more accessible than ever.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
