New for 2015 is the exciting, women's specific, Specialized Jynx 650b Womens Mountain Bike 2015. Using 650b geometry and wheels for improved handling and a SR Suntour fork that offers 80 millimetres of travel. Braking is catered for with Tektro Aries mechanical disc brakes, while Specialized Stout disc equipped wheels roll smoothly and respond quickly to changes in pace.

A forged 9-speed triple crankset offers a wide range of gearing options and provides a smooth and resistance free spinning action whatever the terrain.

The 650b Stout disc rims are paired with Specialized hubs to make a strong and responsive wheelset. This wheel setup is then paired with Specialized Fast Trak Sport 40 TPI tyres. These tyres are 650b specific and 2.0 inches in width, ideal for dry, dusty singletrack or muddy fields.

A drivetrain featuring components from Shimano, KMC and Sunrace. An 8-speed system, provides effortless and rapid shifting and a wide range of gears.

Tektro Aries mechanical disc brakes have been added for their reliable performance. Compared to V-brakes they do not get so easily clogged up by mud and offer predictable stopping power whatever the weather.

The American mountain bike specialists, Specialized have used their own aluminium handlebars, stem and seatpost. Women's specific components are provided in the form of Specialized Body Geometry XCT Women's, Kraton grips and a Specialized Body Geometry Riva Sport Plus saddle.

Whether climbing or descending the 11/34 cassette leaves you with plenty of gearing options.
