As with any bike designed for off-road enjoyment. the Rumor has a plush amount of front and rear suspension. The custom X-Fusion rear shock has 125 millimetres of travel and a lockout feature that is ideal for maximising your efforts when you are powering uphill. The RockShox Recon Silver front fork dampens impacts superbly, even if you decide to go airborne, with 130 millimetres of travel.

Gearing is taken care of with Shimano's Deore 9-speed system coupled with a SRAM X5 front derailleur. This system ensures smooth and reliable shifting and a wide enough range of gears that will allow you to both power up hills and maintain speed on descents.

If you are taking to technical trails then you want to be confident in your braking. Thankfully the Tektro Gemini hydraulic disc brakes provide confidence-inspiring stopping power.
