The Specialized S-Works Crux Disc Cyclocross Bike Frameset uses the same carbon Rider-First Engineered™ technology that features on the Tarmac road bike and has an optimised frame layup and tube shapes to ensure that no matter what size you ride the performance and ride feel are always equal. It's the perfect starting point for building your ultimate cyclocross bike. A lower bottom bracket and nimble front end deliver responsive handling whilst at the same time feeling assured and planted in the corners so that you always hold speed.

The larger frame triangle makes it easy to grab and hoist onto a shoulder if there are obstacles to negotiate or barriers to jump and the flat-bottom top tube is a nice extra touch of comfort. At the back, the seat collar has been slightly lowered and combines with the S-Works FACT seatpost to bring relief and comfort when the course is bumpy and rough. The frame has also been designed for maximum tyre clearance and although a 33mm tyre is generally suggested as optimum there is plenty of additional space that prevents mud from collecting in tight areas of the frame or around the wheels.
