Specialized S-Works Epic Hardtail Mountain Bike 2022
Super lightweight and boasting incredible efficiency, the Specialized S-Works Epic Hardtail Mountain Bike promotes a lightning-fast ride across all manner of XC courses. The FACT 12m carbon frame weighs in at an incredible 800 grams (size 56), making it the lightest production option currently available. Not just light, the frame also has excellent lateral stiffness to ensure an explosively reactive ride when the power is being furiously laid down. Additionally, the intricate carbon layup at the frame's rear maximises compliance, markedly lowering rider fatigue over the roughest terrain.
Increased frame-to-tyre clearance allows bigger, plusher tyres to be used, while the RockShox SID SL Ultimate fork smooths the hits, improving line accuracy across the fastest and most technical singletrack. The fork integrates Brain inertia technology that intuitively and automatically firms or softens its 100mm of travel in line with the severity of the trails, guaranteeing efficiency on climbs but plushness when the pace is high across rocks and roots.
An out and out XC-inspired geometry places the rider in a powerful and balanced position, enabling them to drive effectively through the slick and reliable SRAM XX1 Eagle AXS wireless electronic 12-speed drivetrain. In addition, the drivetrain integrates a power meter into its chainset, enabling accurate training sessions and detailed post-race analysis.
Roval Control SL wheels are light and stiff, granting rapid acceleration and nimble direction changes, and SRAM Level Ultimate hydraulic disc brakes stop accurately and powerfully, inspiring confidence whatever the weather and trail conditions.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
