Specialized Tarmac SL6 Comp Road Bike 2019
Lightweight, stiff and surprisingly aerodynamic, the Specialized Tarmac SL6 Comp is a do-it-all road bike that demands it's place on so many riders' wish lists.
By utilising aerospace design software, Specialized managed to refine their tube shapes and carbon fibre layup, shedding an incredible 20% of weight from the previous edition, the Tarmac SL5. FACT 10r carbon is the material of choice on this Tarmac Comp; it's the second lightest and stiffest material Specialized manufactures and represents excellent value.
To ensure every rider enjoys the same superb ride quality, regardless of frame size, Specialized use their Rider-First Engineered method of tube design, adjusting tube shapes and thicknesses for a consistent product.
Fans of mechanical groupsets will love the Shimano R8000 11-speed components on this bike. The Ultegra range enjoys all the technologies established for the Dura-Ace flagship range, but with a tiny weight penalty that most riders wouldn't even notice. The caliper brakes are the fantastic direct-mount variation, providing more stopping power while still being easy to maintain.
DT Swiss provide their reliable and robust R460 wheelset, with a 23mm wide rim that helps the 26mm Specialized Turbo Pro clincher tyres to blow up to their full potential, delivering a smooth, comfortable and fast rolling ride.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
