Trek, an American company that have invested extensively in producing high quality, womens specific road bikes. The WSD Trek geometry is dialled specifically to a woman’s needs. This provides optimum fit and immense levels of comfort. The Trek Lexa SLX C Womens Road Bike 2014 is made using high performance, lightweight and stiff 200 Aluminium, paired with fantastic Shimano equipment and versatile rack and mudguard mounts. IsoSpeed technology in the fork and frame provide fantastic road dampening. All this results in a bike that can be used all year round, whatever your requirements.
The IsoSpeed technology and Shimano 105 groupset sets this bike apart from the Lexa SL T model. IsoSpeed is unique to Trek and acts as a dampener against road buzz and is used on a number of Trek mens and womens bikes. This has been used in the fork and the decoupler, basically the area where the toptube, downtube and seatstays meet. IsoSpeed results in improved comfort and a smoother ride, without the loss of performance, no wonder professional riders such as Fabian Cancellara are raving about it.
Trek strives to cater for all riders and their needs. An Endurance fit provides all day comfort making the Lexa SLX C ideal for all day riding and touring.
Rack mounts give this bike added versatility, attach a rack of your choice, pannier up and get exploring. A bike for all weathers, with hidden mudguard mounts included, never again get that awful road spray up your back.
This is the ideal mid priced race and training bike as well, with Trek’s innovative SpeedTrap computer sensor seamlessly combined into the fork, providing speed and distance readings. No need to be fiddling around with sensors with this ingenious addition.
Groupset is provided by Shimano a mixture of 105 and Tiagra throughout with a compact chainset, giving you plenty of options, whether hurtling down hill or battling your way up it.
Bontrager bars, stem, saddle, seatpost, wheels and tyres provide the finishing touches, reliable, durable, lightweight and perfectly suited to the woman rider.

Technical Specification
Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
