I hope this feedback reaches all of the teams who were involved in designing, creating and building the new Trek Madone SLR 7 Gen 8 in Navy Smoke. I am 54 years old, a very amateur but enthusiastic club cyclist living in the UK, I have ridden bikes all of my life, cycling is my thing, I have had amazing bikes such as my first chrome bmx with blue mag wheels, an old gold Raleigh racer, a Chopper, various Mountain bikes and a TT bike, and many different carbon, steel, aluminium and titanium road bikes, but I can honestly say that the new Trek Madone is the best bike I have ever had the pleasure of owning. It looks so amazing, and the ride is just awesome, it’s everything that the sigma sales team and trek promo video said it would be, it’s light, fast, comfortable, it climbs well, it’s aero and it is so beautiful to ride, I love it, and just wanted to say a massive well done to all at Trek and also a massive thank you to Sigma and to Trek putting such a smile on my face when I ride my bike, it really is a pleasure to ride and is the best bike I have ever had in my life, so kudos to you all. So smooth yet fast because it puts you in a sustainable aero position. Based on the stack on my last bike I expected to slam this and even thought it might be too high still in size L coming from a 56cm frame, but I’ve just kept adding spacers back on and feeling better and better so bear this in mind. It’s a new generation and different approach to aero. Excellent compliance with the tyre clearance and that isoflow at the back yet super stiff at the BB when you can to kick.
