Trek Speed Concept SLR 7 TT/Triathlon Bike 2026

Not just ridiculously fast, but practical too, Trek’s Speed Concept SLR 7 TT/Triathlon Bike combines state-of-the-art technology with thoughtful features to help performance on longer races.

The 800 Series OCLV Carbon frame uses tubes with a Kammtail Virtual Foil shape that reduces drag but keeps the weight down too, and the carbon fork also has an aerodynamic design to help the front end slip through the air. Competitors in longer events will also appreciate the elastomer-damped IsoSpeed system in the frame that smooths out vibrations from the road for less fatigue in multi-hour events. Integrated storage in the top tube and the down tube ensures that nutrition and tools can be carried without affecting the bike’s performance and the included Speed Concept cage and bottle have also been taken into account with regards to aerodynamics. 

The Speed Concept handlebar and stem system are highly adjustable, so it's easy to adjust for rider size or race requirements and the Bontrager Hilo Comp saddle provides an efficient, aero position so that the power can be produced mile after mile in comfort.

Shimano’s latest 12-speed Di2 technology uses a wireless connection between the shifters and the battery/derailleur loom in the frame, making the front end cleaner and easier to dismantle for travel. Shifting is quick and decisive and the hydraulic disc brakes give cornering and descending confidence often lacking in TT bikes.

At 51mm deep, the carbon Bontrager Aeolus Pro 51 wheels strike a useful balance between handling, weight and speed through the air, with their tubeless-ready format making it easier to switch to running them without inner tubes.
