Trek Project One Speed Concept SLR 6 eTap TT/Triathlon Bike 2023
As well as being incredibly quick, Trek’s Project One Speed Concept SLR 6 eTap TT/Triathlon Bike has a number of features that make it well suited to longer races as well as short ones.
The 800 Series OCLV Carbon frame employs Kammtail Virtual Foil tube shapes to help it slip through the wind with very low seatstays to further reduce drag. The frame also includes Trek’s innovative, bump-smoothing IsoSpeed technology that allows the rider to be isolated from tiring road buzz without reducing the stiffness and power efficiency of the frame; perfect for long rides.
There is also plenty of integrated storage in the frame for carrying nutrition and spares. The top tube has a Bento box built into it for easy access to gels and food whilst in the downtube there is a compartment for tools, tube and CO2 - all kept nicely out of the wind.
SRAM’s Rival eTap AXS drivetrain is perfect for triathlon bikes, as the system’s wireless design allows easy set-up without the need for any tricky cabling and it also makes dismantling the bike for travelling much less of a chore too. With wireless Clic shifters at the end of the extensions, there is no need to move out of an aerodynamic position to change gear and just a light press of the button calls up the next ratio effortlessly. The included crank-based power meter will allow for careful monitoring of training effectiveness and race day efforts for greater efficiency. Hydraulic disc brakes redress the traditionally poor braking performance of time trial and triathlon bikes, giving more confidence and thus more speed in every corner.
The Bontrager Aeolus Pro 51 carbon wheels are deep enough to make a big difference aerodynamically without being too much of an issue handling-wise in difficult conditions and are tubeless-ready, as are the Bontrager R3 tyres, providing the opportunity for more grip, comfort and puncture protection. A tri-specific Bontrager Hilo Comp carbon saddle provides a comfortable, forward position and the Speed Concept cockpit allows for ample adjustment in every direction so that a comfortable and efficient position can be found.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
