Trek Rail 9 GX Eagle Electric Mountain Bike 2020
Trek’s Raill 9 GX Eagle Electric Mountain Bike makes great use of Bosch’s latest 250W pedal motor, adding it to a burly, long travel aluminium chassis to provide the extra power needed to make short work of the ascents necessary in order to relish the descents. The Rockshox Lyrik Select Plus fork and Deluxe RT3 rear shock have 160mm and 150mm of travel respectively, which, along with the progressive geometry and 29” wheels allow the bike to travel very rapidly over even the most difficult of trails. Shimano’s SLX 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes can be pressed into service repeatedly without fading, helping control the bike and inspire confidence. SRAM’s GX Eagle 12-speed groupset pairs a 10-50t cassette with a 15t front chainring for a super-wide spread of gear ratios that can cope with all eventualities.
At the heart of the bike is the Bosch Performance CX motor powered by the 625Wh removable battery. The four power modes, Eco (60%), Tour (140%), Turbo (340%) and the intelligent eMTB (140-340%) can be easily switched between whilst on the move from the handlebar-mounted Purion controller. There is even a Walk mode to help when moving the bike around.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
