Trek Top Fuel 9.8 GX Team Edition Mountain Bike 2020
The Trek Top Fuel 9.8 GX Team Edition Mountain Bike is perfect for endurance events such as 24 hour races or multi-day competitions as well as anyone who simply enjoys riding long and hard off-road. The carbon frame is light and efficient with a 115mm FOX Performance FLOAT shock unit that has been tuned by the Trek suspension Lab. It also features a Straight Shot downtube for stiffness, Knock Block frame protection and Trek’s variable geometry Mino Link to switch between a slacker and a steeper option. The FOX Performance 34 Step-Cast provides 120mm of air sprung travel with GRIP 2-position damper, and both the front and rear shocks can be locked out simultaneously with one action via the simple TwistLoc remote.
The 29” carbon Kovee Elite 30 wheels from Bontrager are held securely by Boost spaced dropouts which help them maintain their stiffness, and the carbon theme continues with the OCLV Carbon Kovee Pro handlebar for comfort and lightness. SRAM’s 12-speed GX drivetrain and Shimano’s SLX hydraulic disc brakes are reliable, high-performance fuss-free options that will ensure every gear shift is accurate and each corner is nailed.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
