The Wahoo BLUE SC Speed/Cadence Sensor allows you to accurately record your distance, speed and cadence data, whether that be out on the road or indoors on your turbo trainer. Pair with your Bluetooth 4.0 or ANT+ enabled iOS or Android smartphone or a Wahoo RFLKT Bike Computer.
Once paired with your smartphone the sensor transmits data to a wide range of cycling apps including Cyclemeter and Strava. The hard-wearing waterproof sensor attaches discretely to the chainstay using zip ties. The sensor sits on a rubber band which is designed to protect the frame's paint from being damaged.
Fitting a wide range of frames, the sensor is wireless and quick and easy to setup.
Bought this to replace a Bontrager one that didn't last very long. I think Wahoo has a name for being reliable, it has worked perfectly so far. Easy to set up - and these can be fiddly to get right. Paired easily with Zwift and Sufferfest. I've since bought one for my dad as well!
Works well but check for compatibility with your bike first. The gap between the chainstay and crank arms was too big, even using the supplied spacer. I use a triple chainring but this can't be that unusual? I crafted a new spacer out of cork and used my own longer cable ties to fix it in place. After that everything was easy.
