An incredibly comprehensive multi-tool, the Wolf Tooth Components 8 Bit Kit One combines everything that could possibly be needed for road or trail side repairs into a very compact and well-engineered package.
As well as a full raft of hex bits, the tool includes a chain breaker, master link pliers, rim dent remover, Torx bits and tyre plug tool along with many other useful tools. It can all be attached together using the pin and magnet interface that keeps it extremely slim and svelte, making it easy to slip into a saddle bag or jersey pocket. Construction is up to Wolf Tooth Components’ usual impeccable standards, with high-quality materials and machining.
The 8 Bit Kit One is a useful multi tool. Took it gravel touring - what did I use ? - you can use it as a pedal spanner - the Hex bits and the Torx attachment for my tri bars I left the middle of the sandwich (the tyre wrench) at home. It seems bulky and I was uncertain if I could change a tyre with one tyre lever only Overall it is good. It’s well made. I have yet to find the perfect multi tool and will probably buy yet another next year
A nice and compact multi-tool kit that appears to give everything you might need for kerbside fixes. Feels a bit fiddly (I’ll find out how it works out on a cold, windy, wet dusk…!
