This mount places your head unit on top of the bottle, in case you don't have room on the mount in front of the bottle, i.e. because of narrow bars, oversized head unit etc. However this places the computer essentially between your elbows instead of out in front where you can see it with minimal head or eye movement, which is preferred for a TT. With this mount you'll be forever looking down to see any data, plus if you have a low position the unit is so close to your chin it's hard to read the numbers. While it does "save space", i'd investigate other mount options before you go for this. Even using a watch and tilting my wrist is more practical.

XLab Space Saver Computer Mount
With a hydration system, bike computer and tri bag up front space can be hard to come by on your TT bars. Help alleviate this problem with the Xlab Space Saver Computer Mount. The mount fits easily to the Torpedo System 100, Torpedo System 400 and Refill Upgrade Kit Bottles and is compatible with most bike computers. Once mounted the space saver allows you to adjust the angle of your bike computer so you have the best possible view of the screen while you are riding. A rather nifty straw tuck loop is also included on each side of the mount so you can tuck your straw away when it is not required for optimal aerodynamics. Note: Computer and hydration system not included.
