The use of a smaller rim makes space for wider tyres, and with that comes added comfort, compliance, and improved handling in corners.
The rim is a 45mm mid-depth for a balance of stability and drag reduction, so it cuts through the wind but can hold its own in a crosswind too. At the centre of the wheel is a German-engineered ZR1 disc brake hub with sealed bearings for durability. 24 Sapim CX Sprint J-bend spokes lace the hub and rim together to create a strong, stiff build, able to perform on smooth tarmac and dirt roads alike.
