Vel’s Patch Repair Kit is a convenient way to carry everything needed to fix a punctured inner tube. The self-adhesive patches don’t require glue, and at 25mm in diameter should be large enough to repair most holes. The kit includes six patches, sandpaper for preparing the inner tube and a neat case to keep it all together.
Completely useless, not a hint of "stickyness" to them..well just a hint but that is all. Just glad I had an old park patch as a backup, or would have stuck on the middle of nowhere (went over some random thorns and punctured front and back so had to patch tube). If they were expensive then I would take the time to return but more hassle than it would be worth. I was hoping for something like the park tool patches....these are not in the slightest like them.
These live in my saddlebag to use on the roadside and are fine to get me home if I pick up a flat when I'm out on a ride. However but the adhesive isn't strong enough to withstand more than a couple of days on an inflated tube and so I end up having to repair the puncture twice. At £1 per pack they're fine for that emergency use but don't expect stellar results.
