Bike Spanners

Cycling-specific spanners solve problems that standard hardware tools can't. Bike components are built to tight tolerances, use non-standard interface sizes, and in many cases are positioned in ways that make a conventional spanner impractical, the cranks, pedal axles, hub cones, and headset lockrings all require tools designed specifically for the job. Pedal Spanners

The pedal spanner is the most-reached-for cycling spanner in any workshop. Pedal axles use a 15mm wrench flat, thinner than most standard 15mm spanners and are positioned tight against the crank arm, leaving very little clearance. A dedicated pedal spanner is slim enough to fit in that gap, long enough to generate the leverage needed to break the thread loose, and built to handle the substantial torque required.
