Cycle Technician: Grantham
Sigma Sports is the country's leading Road Cycling and Triathlon retailer. At our Grantham location, we have an opportunity for the right candidate to join our team as a Cycle Technician in our workshop on a full-time, permanent contract.
You will be joining a busy team in a fast-paced environment; responsible for assembly and inspection of complete box and custom bikes, wheel building/truing and the re-boxing of bikes, for shipping out directly to our customers.
What are we looking for? Essential skills/experience:
- You will need to have a good technical and mechanical knowledge of bikes and experience of bike maintenance.
- The ideal candidate will be a conscientious, hard-working and dedicated individual who appreciates quality and attention to detail.
- Attention to detail and ability to problem-solve.
- General IT competency.
- Taking responsibility for your own diary/workload but to work as part of a team of technicians.
Desirable skills/experience:
- Qualified to Cytech level 2 or 3 is preferred, although specific training in all areas will be provided to the successful candidate.
- Previous experience within a workshop environment.

Location:
Based in Grantham at either NG31 9SE (current) NG31 7XQ (future).
Salary
We offer a competitive salary (dependant on experience) and benefits package.
Contract/Hours:
Permanent, full-time working Monday to Friday, contracted to 41.25 hours a week. You must be eligible to work in the UK.
Holidays:
Starting at 28 days holiday including bank holidays rising to 33 days after 5 years of service.
