Bike Box Alan Triathlon Aero Easyfit Bikebox

Reducing the hassle of getting your equipment ready for a holiday or race abroad, the Bike Box Alan Triathlon Aero Easyfit Bikebox is big enough to accommodate the vast majority of road and tri bikes without having to remove the handlebars, saddle and seatpost. The box is also suitable for mountain bikes. The construction is based on the original Bike Box Alan Premium, but there's more than enough space for not only your bike but your kit too. Wheels fit into the recesses on either side of the box.

With many modern TT and road bikes now having integrated components and setups dialled into the millimetre, you can now keep everything together and in one piece, and the box can be packed and ready in minutes. Everything is secured using cushioned velcro straps, with two layers of foam padding adding additional protection. The anti-crush pole will stay in place if airport security opens the box, and you can even leave your tubeless road tyres pumped up to 95% pressure to prevent loss of puncture sealant.

Fitment

• If you are 5 feet 11” (180cm) or less, with a road or Triathlon bike, it’s generally just wheels and pedals off!
• Riders over 5 feet 11” (180cm) with a Road or Triathlon bike may also have to remove the rear Derailleur or lower the seat post, or a combination of both, with a 10 to 20 minutes packing time. Riders with a long reach may have to shorten the TT bars (usually 4 small Allen key screws)
• Riders over 6 feet 3” (190cm) using large and extra large TT bikes may have to reduce the reach of the TT bars, lower or remove the seat post and rear mech. On rare occasions, the chain set may need to be removed.
• Integrated seat post (I.S.P) Bikes: If you are 5 foot 11” (180cm) or less, your seat can remain in place. Above that you may have to remove the seat.
• Thru-axles: These wheels are secured in the wheel recesses on each side of the bike box with cushioned Velcro straps. The axles can remain in the bike frame for safekeeping.
• Deep-section wheels and disc brake wheels: All deep-section wheels and disc brake wheels fit in the Easyfit.
• Fits 3 wheels: There is room for 3 lightweight road wheels inside the Easyfit. So if you are a Triathlete who wants the option to race with either a solid rear disc wheel or a normal rear wheel, we have the bike box for you
• Tubleless Road/Gravel/Mountain Bike tyres:  Bike tyres up to 3″  (75mm) fit comfortably into the wheel indents on both sides of the Easyfit bike box. For safety, reduce air pressure by 5%. This will also prevent loss of liquid puncture sealant as the tyre seal will remain intact.
• Solid disc: Racing wheels are safely secured in the wheel recess in the base of the bike box.
• The anti-crush pole provided cannot be used when transporting the rear Disc wheel. However, the plastic on the bike case is double the thickness of competitors' boxes, so transporting a Disc wheel in the Easyfit still gives the maximum protection that can be afforded. We recommend a little extra padding with your kit or using an extra layer of foam
• For all Mountain bikes, you will need to remove the handlebars and forks.
• Some Touring Bikes may fit (providing that mud guards and luggage racks are removed), and the bike is of standard road bike configuration, with 27-inch wheels.
