I bought this last month for a trip to France. It was easy to pack the bike into it. You just need to remove the pedals and wheels. It's straightforward to attach the frame to the base. However on it's maiden voyage, part of the protective lining on the outside was ripped off, and my bike handlebars were bent. I get the impression it was thrown around by the airport staff, but I would've hoped it would have faired better on it's first use. I complained to sigma sports but they would not offer me any refund/assistance.

SciCon AeroComfort Road 3.0 TSA Bike Travel Bag
Taking your bike abroad is all too often a chore - an inevitability and a hurdle to overcome if you're ever going to tackle some proper mountains. Well, with the SciCon AeroComfort Road 3.0 TSA Bike Travel Bag, you can take some of the hassles out of things. Reducing the amount of dismantling that you need to do to ensure that you can jet off, this bike bag doesn't even demand that you remove your handlebars, meaning it's just your wheels that you need to reinsert once you arrive at your destination.
Weighing just 8 kilos and offering a rolling trolley for easy manoeuvring through the airport concourse, this bike bag keeps your bike safely in place by means of a Hybrid protection system. A softshell outer is augmented by a steel cage that you can deftly insert your bike into and fasten quick releases or thru-axels, ensuring your bike won't be moving around in transit. Strapped down and covered with included frame and component protectors, this method really ensures that your bike is completely planted.
With the bag zipping closed and locked with a padlock for absolute security, you can be sure that all your biking essentials are safely stowed for the long-haul. Wheels fitted into two side pockets and this otherwise semi-rigid back neatly stored under your bed when not in use, this is a versatile and easy option for the rider looking to get out there and explore new territory.

Reviews
don't know how it works as it doesn't look to be as good as hard case, but it does! my 2019 swoks venge (the reason i got this bag) travelled a four leg flight only with a slight displacement of brake/shift controller. also, assembling bike is very easy. the only thing is i had to remove rear derailleur, because the protection does not seem to be sufficient

Hi - in the videos I've seen on their website it says you need to deflate the tyres? Will this bag not accommodate a tubeless setup? Same question re the Tri one too? Thanks
Hi Alex, This bag is compatible with tubeless set-up, however, when flying it is always recommended to deflate the tyres due to the flutualting air pressure when flying. Many thanks, Max
Hi - I have a Cervelo R3 disc with the RAT thru axles. Would that axle work OK with this bag? Thanks.
Hi Martin, I can confirm that this would work with RAT axles. Many Thanks Liam
Good afternoon Will this bag cater for both traditional quick release and thru axel skewers? Thanks in advance
Hi Axel, Thanks for your enquiry, I can confirm this bag is through-axle compatible, as well as QR skewers. I hope this helps. Many thanks, Ollie
