The Bont Helix Road Cycling Shoes are a triumph of design. Blending ergonomics with premium power transfer, the Helix shoes are Bont's elite racing shoes and boast a unidirectional carbon monocoque chassis for completely stiff and rigid power output. Eliminating flex and forming a solid basis for powerful and responsive pedalling, this is a racing calibre option that helps you squeeze the most from your efforts.
A 3.6mm stack height keeps power transfer efficiency and the sole is compatible with three-bolt SPD-SL cleats and pedals. This shoe also uses a Durolite upper that provides a close fit. Secure and non-stretching, this synthetic material retains its tensile strength over time. Boasting perforation over the Durolite fabric, these shoes make sure that you're kept cool on high-temperature rides. Comfort further assured by a memory foam padding, these shoes offer customisable fit thanks to a proprietary heat mouldable chassis, incorporating Epoxy Thermoset Resin. Allowing you a perfect match to your foot, this shoe makes sure that there's no excess wiggle room as you pedal.
Closed by means of a BOA IP1 dual dial retention system that uses kevlar wiring for better durability, you can adjust your tension levels on the fly. To find your size, place a tape measure on a flat surface against a wall. Stand on the tape measure with your heel against the wall. Look down and take the measurement from your longest toe. Use the Size Guide to find your size.
Note: The mm/inches sizes on the size guide are the exact length of the cast used to build the shoes. If you find that your mm/inches size is exactly the same as the value on the guide, you may want to select one size bigger to give your toes some room. E.g. You measure your foot and it is 268mm, which is a size 42.5, we suggest you go up a size unless you like your shoes very tight.

Glad I bought from Sigma as the moulding process by Nick was exceptional and was done far better than I would have done at home. Highly recommend these shoes, very lightweight, very strong, and barley notice that you are wearing them, which I notice through my knees and legs feeling very free. Easy to adjust. A suede feel to the inside of the shoe is very nice and comfortable without being too thick On a 200km Ride has no issues at all, just had to remember not to over-tighten them as no need to.

Are half sizes wide fit. i.e. is 44.5 same size as 44 just wider as with other brands?
