Warm, insulating, comfortable and durable, the Castelli Flanders Warm Long Sleeve Base Layer uses a SottoZero Fleece multi-denier, lightweight, 100% polyester fabric. Comfort is provided by flat-lock stitching and a flat hem that is long enough to be tucked into the shorts or tights. A mesh construction under the armpits improves breathability and the grey design with signature Castelli graphics looks great whatever you are wearing over it.
A base layer for the coldest of winter days. With a temperature range of between -5° and 8°C you are sure to stay comfortable and warm no matter the conditions. Another quality product from Castelli. good fit across upper torso, nice and long around the waist to minimise any 'ride up' and long sleeves. Does what it is supposed to - keeps you warm in cold weather whilst wicking moisture away well, Sizing, I usually size a Medium for Castelli short sleeve jerseys and a large for their jackets. I found in this instance large gave a good snug fit.
So I’ve had it now twice, and to be honest, they are superb - one of the best.
