As much as I like the latest version, I can’t help but feel it’s a step back compared to the previous generation. Each of the previous versions improved on the last. Whilst this is undoubtedly lighter, a better fit (depending on perspective) and approaches water-proofing differently, its unfortunately lost insulation and therefore its broader use in late Autumn and winter. Overall a very good bit of kit but I’m not sure putting the Gabba name on it was the right move. Best suited to intense training and racing rather than steady off season training

I was looking forward to the new R but when I received it there was blemishes on it. When your paying £300 for a short sleeve jacket you want it to be 100% Took photos and sent it back got a refund.
