Description
Performance & Use Case
The CeramicSpeed BSA Bottom Bracket is the premium upgrade for any BSA English-threaded frameset. CeramicSpeed grade 3 Silicon Nitride ceramic balls deliver markedly lower rolling friction than standard steel bearings - and they keep running smoothly for far longer. For road riders running a threaded frame, it is the upgrade that transforms drivetrain feel without changing the chainset.
Construction & Materials
Each cup is machined from high-grade anodised aluminium and threaded for direct installation into the BSA shell, with grade 3 Silicon Nitride ceramic balls inside hardened races. Coated bearing options add CeramicSpeed's 3-micron metallic surface treatment - races harder than steel, with 60% longer life and 50% lower friction than uncoated.
Compatibility
Fits any BSA English-threaded 68mm frameset. Three spindle-compatibility options cover the major road crankset standards: Shimano Hollowtech II (24mm), SRAM DUB (28.99mm) and Campagnolo Ultra-Torque (25mm). Coated and uncoated bearing options are offered for each spindle type. Select the variant that matches your crankset and your service preference.
