Cervelo Soloist 105 Di2 Disc Road Bike 2023
The renaissance of a revered name, Cervelo’s Soloist 105 Di2 Disc Road Bike sits squarely between the aerodynamic S5 and the lightweight R5 in terms of frame weight and drag, making it an ideal, all-round bike.
The frame’s geometry mirrors that of the highly successful R5 so it is plenty comfortable enough for long days and solo breakaways whilst still being fast and efficient enough at speed. Cervelo claims that the Soloist is 250 grams lighter than the S5 and faster than the R5.
There are a number of practical touches that will be appreciated by home mechanics and privateer racers too; the bottom bracket is threaded for easier maintenance and replacement, there is space for 34mm tyres to increase the bike’s utility and Cervelo’s clever cable routing keeps everything out of the wind but doesn’t require a full bleed for a stem change or adjustment.
The latest Shimano groupset to get the electronic treatment, 12-speed 105 Di2 offers instant, accurate gear shifts at the lightest touch of the lever and without cables to get contaminated or degrade, every change is as good as the first. The system is partially wireless, so there is also the potential to connect it to a compatible phone or GPS unit for further ride data and some customisation of functions. A compact chainset and 34t cassette underline the bike's versatile remit, with plenty of ratios for climbing big mountains or attacking at high speed on the flat.
Tubeless-ready wheels and tyres provide the opportunity to experience the benefits of use without inner tubes, with fewer punctures, less rolling resistance, more comfort and increased grip as lower pressures can be used.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
