Ive been using gatorskins for over 10 yrs & have had very few puntures over all this time (touch wood) hard waring all year round use. I wish they did a 26 or 27mm as i found to 28mm a bit tight on my summer bike.

The triple layer polyamide Hardshell casing provides a puncture resilient base and is topped by a bead-to-bead Duraskin layer for all-round cut protection that extends across the sidewalls. An extra-wide Poly-X breaker belt adds another layer of defence against thorns and flint commonly encountered on challenging winter rides. The carbon-reinforced rubber tread compound completes this hardy tyre by providing grip in all conditions, reducing rolling resistance and granting extended durability over harsh, cold and wet road surfaces.

I will never buy continental again! Bought these for commuting and punctured in the second week. Had bad luck with continental in the past but thought I would spend a little more and give these a go especially considering the hype. Almost slid off first time out on them aswell as it was slightly damp. I rate Vittoria far higher, not as much hyper marketing and better tyres.
