What it does
The Elite Jet Biodegradable Bottle is Elite's environmentally conscious cycling bottle option. Made from biodegradable plastic, it breaks down at end of life rather than persisting in the waste stream as conventional plastic bottles do. The performance characteristics match a standard Elite bottle - lightweight, squeezable, well-shaped for cages.
Construction & Capacity
Biodegradable plastic with lightweight squeezable construction. Wide opening for easy filling and cleaning. Available in three capacities: 550ml (training and short rides), 750ml (endurance rides) and 950ml (ultra-distance and hot-weather use). The larger sizes are a tighter fit in some race-spec aero cages - check cage clearance before ordering. Available in multiple colours - select the colour and capacity that match your kit and ride distance.
Bought 2 of these after being impressed by the smaller version. The opening is nice & wide for ice/energy drink powder and the lid gives a good flow (& doesn't split when landing upside down unlike some designs!). Being dishwasher safe is a bonus, as is the biodegradable material
biodegradable however the drinking cap doesnt click to the drink position, it floats between off and on. make sure to pull with teeth to get the drink, otherwise sometimes you get nothing
