Bought these with the explicit intention of using them on cold spring mornings when it’s cold but not below freezing. At 2 degrees Celsius I wore them for about 5 miles until my fingers were so cold they hurt. I stopped and put on a pair of Rab under gloves that I use for skiing and this improved matters to the point where I could carry on. I have to say I was a bit disappointed by the performance, especially as I am a big fan of Gore gear in general and own a fair bit of it which is mostly excellent. the style and fit of the gloves are excellent but they just are not very warm. It’s back to the trusty SeaSkins for me when it’s cold.

Reviews
Got these when it was sub zero, you need to have warm hands before you put them on otherwise they keep your fingers cold for about 20 mins until you get the blood pumping. Anything over 5 degs and they get very hot and the sweat doesnt evaporate despite being gortex. Makes for clammy gloves and hard to put back on if you stop and take them off. Otherwise really good, just don’t take them off mid ride if you can avoid it.

Q & A
1 question answered
You list XXL as a size. Gore Bike Wear list their sizes as 9, 10, 11 etc. What size is your XXL in Gore Bike Wear gloves please?
Hello, Gore sell these to us as XXL instead of a numerical size, so we do not have a size to equate this to. Many Thanks Liam
