1) Chest: Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the measuring tape horizontal.
2) Waist: Measure around the narrowest part (below the bottom rib an above the hip bones), keeping the tape horizontal.
3) Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips, keeping the tape horizontal.
4) Arm Length: Measure from the highest point of your shoulder following your bent arm down to wrist bone. Bend your arm slightly.
5) Inside Leg: Measure from the top of your inner leg along the inside seam to the bottom of your leg.
So i went on a ride a few days ago. The temperature that day was around 7 degrees with a wind chill of around 3 degrees. I can confirm that throughout a 36 mile ride this base layer kept me warm. The base layer is also very breathable and comfortable. I really recommend it.
