Having started taking my running, and health in general, more seriously again this year, I decided to upgrade my ancient (but trusty) Suunto Ambit 3. Obviously, Garmin is the big brand in this space, but I wanted to ensure I was getting bang for my buck. I knew I needed good GPS, but what I love about this watch is everything else around the main running functions; training readiness, HR, body battery, HRV status, sleep score / coach, and so much more. I've also connected it with Strava and Runna, which makes the workouts extremely easy, and using it on the treadmill (after calibrating it a few times) is very accurate. I wear this watch 24/7 now and it's helping me, motivating me, and teaching me, so all in all I'm really glad I went for the slightly more expensive option. I should mention Sigma Sports in this review as well. The ordering process was simple, they accepted AMEX when others didn't and the delivery was quicker than expected. This isn't the first time I've used them and I would again without hesitation.
