Straightforward to use and not too heavy at all when it's around your waste. I actually wouldn't have minded more weight and more length - as it is, getting it around a wheel, the frame and a bike stand can be fiddly sometimes - although maybe making it longer would have made it impossible to use as a belt. The padlock has that thing where the shackle can't go around 360 degrees, which can make it extra fiddly to lock up. Final warning, expect to get a little grease and muck on your clothes if you're locking your bike up in the rain and threading the chain through your wheels. But those are all more nitpicks than serious complaints - still a good purchase overall, not been broken into yet.
