Take your indoor training up a notch with this JetBlack WhisperDrive Direct Drive Smart Trainer. Its innovative design means there's no need to plug it into the mains, with the unit generating power as you pedal. Another handy feature is the SmartCharge USB, allowing you to charge devices while you're on the bike. Dual connectivity, using ANT+ FEC and Bluetooth Smart, means you get access to your training stats - power, speed and cadence - and can pair with your favourite apps. ERG mode will automatically change the resistance to match your intervals, but resistance can also be changed via the app.
As the name suggests, the WhisperDrive is incredibly quiet, making it a great choice especially when training during less sociable hours. It'll measure power up to 2,500 watts and inclines up to 16%, so both climbers and sprinters are well catered for. Pretty much ready to go out of the box, you can simply fit your choice of cassette and ride. Wide compatibility makes this trainer versatile enough for a range of bikes and wheel size, with additional adaptors and freehub bodies available separately.
