Bought as gift but had sneeky test before handing it over. Fits on drop bar road bike without need of permanent attachment. Plenty to space for long day touring. Probably OK for long weekend with saddle bag too.

With a capacious 11 litres of cargo space and a neat Bar-Lock mounting system, ORTLIEB’s Handlebar Pack is a great option for long rides or multi-day trips. The shape of the bag makes it particularly suitable for drop handlebar bikes as the top-loading roll closure is easy to access with the bag mounted on the bike.
Its fully waterproof construction and durable fabrics ensure that the contents are well protected whilst the pockets and compression straps make it simple to organise the load and keep frequently needed items close at hand. Reflective logos and 3M Scotchlite patches improve low light visibility on the roads.
Please note, not suitable for carbon handlebars.

Love this handlebar bag. It takes a little bit of adjustment and getting use to the quick release system, but once you do it's easy and fast to get the bag on and off. If you're only using the bag occasionally, it's a much better system than those that leave mounts on your bars. The bag stays securely in place and can take a decent amount of weight. My only complaint is that it would be nice to have a proper carrying handle or a way to add a strap.

Does this come with the fixing mount for the handlebars that the bag clips on to?
Hi Marc, Yes, the Bar-Lock mounting comes with the pack. The bag attaches to the handlebars using the included cords and plastic mount, so there's nothing extra to buy for a standard alloy bar. On carbon bars, protective caps are recommended. Many thanks Joe W
