These are great sunglasses, the photos and videos are great, the speakers are superb, however, the battery life in the Vanguards near enough renders them unusable for most people. Oakley Meta claim 9 hours which is a joke. This must be if you just wear them as sunglasses. If you use the Garmin auto capture feature, listening to audio and have voice activation on, the battery will NOT last more than 1h30-2h00. As many reviews have stated the auto capture is the big sales pitch for cyclists. Great if you like random 5 second clips of the most uninteresting parts of your ride. I cannot stress enough how badly this rinses the battery. After the 4th ride with these I managed to get 4 hours out of the battery by disabling Garmin auto capture and riding in a group so didn't have any audio playing. For the MTB riders amongst you I got video on 2 runs on a trail at Bike Park Wales before the battery died. I hope that Oakly/Meta/Garmin can find a software solution to extend the battery life. If they could do this then they would be fantastic.
