Quarq’s DFour DUB 110 BCD Road Power Meter Crankset offers power measurement accurate to within 1.5% and provides metrics for both legs for ultimate precision. The device is housed in the 110 BCD spider so chainrings can be switched without affecting the measurements, and there is no need to calibrate the device thanks to MagicZero technology which automatically performs checks and recalibrations. 10K temperature compensation takes account of climatic conditions which can have an effect on a power meter’s readings.
Data is sent using both Bluetooth low energy technology and ANT+ for compatibility for the majority of devices and the CR2032 battery gives up to 200 hours of riding. When a replacement battery is required, no tools are needed for the swap. The crankset is compatible with Shimano Dura-Ace R9100 or Ultegra R8000 chainrings and SRAM DUB bottom brackets, giving access to a wide range of ratios and quality components.
So far, it has been faultless, the carbon cranks feel stiffer than the Ultegra 8000 cranks they replaced. The auto-calibrate feature makes for very easy to use. The spider is designed for Dura Ace 9100 chainrings so the tie-in isn't as slick with R8000 but its a small difference.
