I must admit to being very pleasantly surprised by this Jersey. It kept me dry for two hours in rain that overwhelmed my waterproof shoes and gloves. Given that it doesn't claim to be completely waterproof that's a very good result. Also, unlike many expensive waterproof jackets, it remains very breathable so there's no sweaty back and you stay warm for longer. A light merino base layer and this jersey is fine for me down to 6c. Also, unlike the Castelli Perfetto, the Brevet has two zipped pockets for keys / phone etc at the front. They don't get in the way when riding and are enormously handy when you stop at the cafe. No more fumbling around. Reasonably good visibility as well. Great product.
