As a longtime Fizik Arione saddle user, now aged 67, I decided to review the situation and found the Selle Italia SLR saddle width (130) and shape now better suits my old body. Recently did a hilly 80 mile sportive, on my Specialized Roubaix and found it very comfortable. I have just purchase the Gravel version for my Specialized Diverge
Having had a saddle fit some years ago, I have replaced like for like ....I blamed different shorts for my aches and moreso pains in the sensitive areas. Decided to give this saddle a go as almost a last resort, and have not looked back - cannot recommend it enough, although a tad expensive. I know everyone is different, but I used to wince and prepare myself after being out of the saddle, thinking I had to reposition myself, knowing pain was going to come !
