Shimano Dura-Ace 9100 Carbon SPD-SL Road Bike Pedals

The Shimano Dura-Ace 9100 Carbon SPD-SL Road Pedals build on Shimano's pro-level Dura-Ace platform to deliver an ultra-low weight, durability and a wide and shallow carbon fibre platform that is going to let you put the power down when you need to.

Constructed with a lightweight carbon fibre body, these pedals offer a large shoe contact area to maximise power transfer and support. Stainless steel pedal body plates increase durability whilst also creating a solid contact point between your cleat and the pedal. The low profile 8.8mm body height from axle centre to cleat contact surface provides greater cornering clearance while the open design allows for easy access to cleat adjustment.

Jon,

Top pedals - I have legs that look like I tried to stop a pig in a passage so I go for the wider extra 4mm ones but irrespective of axle lengths these are brilliant. I’ve tried so many pedals over the years that one of my friends described my house as a pedal museum.......Look, Speedplay, SPD-R (you have to be old to remember those), SPD-SL, Time....I have had them all. Eventually I keep coming back to these. Bought these for the retro, summer only, (I am an old man and believe if I buy a bike from 2005 I will be as fast as I was in 2005) bike.

About Shimano

Shifting the way the world rides.

From a single Osaka workshop in 1921, Shimano has grown into the world's most influential component maker. The brand's relentless engineering — Dura-Ace, Ultegra, GRX, XTR — has shaped the way the world shifts, brakes and rides, on the road and off it.

Shimano's flagship groupset, Dura-Ace, has been the benchmark for top-level road components for more than five decades. Every refinement that lands on Dura-Ace eventually shapes the entire Shimano range, all the way down to entry-level drivetrains.
