These are great gloves and I have been very impressed with them - with one caveat though. The good points - light, warm, comfortable, not bulky but still warm so you feel in control and can change gear etc easily. For temperatures of say between 3 or 4 degrees Celsius on a fresh morning up to say 8 or 9 degrees Celsius as it warms up during the day these are great. Very impressed. They are very light - when I opened them I was bit surprised and a bit sceptical about how warm they would be, but they've been great. The caveat? They are called 'Deep Winter' gloves so I was expecting them to be good for sub zero temperatures but for me they don't work at maybe 1 or 2 degrees Celsius or below - I get cold fingertips. However, I always take some light vinyl gloves with me in case I get a mechanical on the road so ifs its really cold I wear these under the gloves until the day warms up a little and that solves the problem and also means your comfortable as it does warm up. One improvement - they could have a 'nose wipe' section on the glove.

(2) Measure the width around the knuckles using a flexible tape measure.
